Had to work on a customers water garden the last 2 days. Hopefully we will load up basin with rock and tear apart our pond on Monday or Tuesday. Then THE REAL FUN WILL START! Building the larger pond and working on the waterfalls(my favorite part)! We will on have 2 days to tear apart and rebuild the new pond (so all our lovely Koi will stay happy & get them back into the real pond & out of the fish tub). Here is the pond we are about to destroy!

Digging has begun

We (Delightful Watergardens) have begun to install the first-ever Rain Water Harvesting System in Wisconsin. It will consist of 2 streams/waterfalls that flow into a 22x 38 pond and then flows into a BASIN where the water is joined by storm water runoff from the roof. The water goes through a biological filtration process before being re-circulated back over the BioFalls® Filters. Each waterfall descends into an ecosystem pond where the water is further filtered through aquatic plants before winding its way back into the BASIN.

The Basin is where the rain water runs to from the filter located under the gutter.
